Indian Gold, Silver Prices Soar to New Heights on September 4
India's gold and silver prices saw a sharp rise on September 4, 2026. The indicative rate for 24-carat gold reached approximately Rs 15,536 per gram. Silver prices also increased by Rs 5 per gram in major Indian cities.
The price of 22-karat gold was around Rs 14,241 per gram, with the biggest difference visible in silver prices. In Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, silver is priced at Rs 250 per gram or Rs 2,50,000 per kilogram. However, Chennai and Hyderabad are quoting ₹255 per gram, translating to Rs 2,55,000 per kilogram.
