Indian Indices Open Lower as Crude Oil Prices Rise
Indian benchmark indices opened lower on Tuesday, with the Sensex falling 82.88 points to 76,874.39 and the Nifty declining 43.45 points to 24,036.95.
The GIFT Nifty started the morning session down 33 points or 0.14% at 24,193.
Asian markets were trading lower in early trade, while US stock futures were largely steady.
Crude oil prices remained elevated, with Brent above $91 a barrel and US crude oil at $86.66 a barrel.
