Indian Natural Gas Prices Hold Steady Amid Demand Expectations
Natural gas prices in India ended unchanged at ₹283.40 on July 24, 2026, as bullish demand expectations were offset by comfortable supply conditions and profit booking.
The market found support from a sharp rally in crude oil and updated forecasts pointing to warmer-than-normal temperatures across the United States through early August, which are expected to increase electricity demand for air conditioning.
According to LSEG estimates, total U.S. gas demand, including exports, will average 111.0 billion cubic feet per day (bcfd) over the next two weeks, slightly higher than previous forecasts.
