Indian Silver Prices Flat for Third Consecutive Day
Silver prices in India held steady for the third consecutive day on Thursday, remaining at ₹2,600 per 10 grams. This marked one of the quietest stretches for silver pricing in India this month, with city-wise rates also unchanged from Wednesday's levels.
Dealers pointed out that three consecutive flat sessions suggest silver has settled into a firm short-term equilibrium after last week's sharp gains. The metal is likely to stay range-bound until a fresh catalyst emerges, such as a shift in the US Federal Reserve's policy stance or a change in the US-Iran standoff.
The steady rates have been attributed to both global prices and the rupee holding firm overnight. However, market participants expect silver's near-term direction to hinge on fresh cues from these key factors, alongside industrial demand from electronics and solar-panel manufacturers.
