Indian Stock Market Expected to Open Flat Amid Rising Oil Prices
The Indian stock market is expected to open flat on Monday, August 10, as rising Brent crude oil prices weigh on investor sentiment.
The global benchmark for crude oil, Brent, increased by 0.9% to $84.30 per barrel, continuing a surge of over 5% in the last three sessions.
Hitesh Tailor, Technical Research Analyst at Choice Equity Broking Private Limited, noted that the Sensex continues to trade above its 20-day, 50-day and 100-day EMAs, indicating a broader positive trend despite recent weakness.
