Indian Stock Market Indices Sensex and Nifty Rise Amid Crude Oil Price Decline
The Indian stock market indices Sensex and Nifty rose in early trade on Wednesday due to declining crude oil prices and continued foreign fund inflows.
Crude oil, a major economic indicator, saw its price dip as Brent crude traded 1.16% lower at $78.44 per barrel.
Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) bought equities worth Rs 2,446.47 crore on Tuesday, according to exchange data.
VK Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist at Geojit Investments Limited, attributed the market's positivity to the sharp dip in Brent crude and record closing in US markets.
