Indian Stock Markets Eye Weak Start Amid Global Volatility
The Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, are expected to open lower on August 31, following the GIFT Nifty's weak start at around 24,218.50 in early trade.
On Friday, both indices rebounded from two days of losses, closing higher due to buying in blue-chip IT stocks and a rally in global markets.
The Sensex gained 330.92 points, or 0.43 per cent, to close at 77,264.51, while the Nifty rose 84.80 points, or 0.35 per cent, to close at 24,175.65.
Eight key market triggers will be watched closely today, including Asian markets, US markets, crude oil prices, and global bond yields.
