Gold and silver prices in India have remained elevated on September 7, despite a decline in their global values over the past week. According to Bullion.co.in data, 24K gold is priced at ₹1,53,340 per 10 grams, while 22K gold costs ₹1,40,562 per 10 grams. Silver 999 fine is quoted at ₹2,37,170 per kg.

The national price of 24K gold has remained closely watched by investors and consumers due to changing expectations around US interest rates, movements in the dollar, and continuing geopolitical uncertainty. International gold prices eased on Monday after stronger-than-expected US jobs data increased expectations that the US Federal Reserve could maintain a tighter monetary stance.

In India, Chennai recorded the highest 24K gold price at ₹1,53,510 per 10 grams, while Delhi had the lowest at ₹1,52,800. The rates vary across cities and individual jewellers depending on local taxes, supply costs, and market conditions.
