Gold and silver prices in India experienced a moderate pullback on September 2, following a week of profit-taking. According to PSU Connect, spot gold dropped around 4.5% over the past seven days, while silver lost approximately 2.3% during the same period.

The long-term fundamentals for these precious metals remain elevated, with year-over-year metrics showing gold up roughly 43.3%, and silver holding a gain of about 89% compared to September 2025 levels.

Currently, the National Daily Benchmark prices are as follows: 24K Gold (99.9% pure) at ₹1,52,160 per 10 grams, 22K Gold (91.6% pure) at ₹1,39,000 per 10 grams, and Fine Silver (999 Pure) at ₹2,34,780 per kilogram.

Prices vary across regional markets due to local transportation charges, state-level levies, and bullion association quotes. For example, in Mumbai, the prices are ₹1,51,880 for 24K Gold, ₹1,39,223 for 22K Gold, and ₹2,34,350 for Fine Silver per kilogram.
