India's Gold and Silver Prices Soar to New Heights
Gold and silver prices in India have seen significant increases over the past year. According to data from Bullion.co.in, 24K gold has gained nearly 62% in value, while silver has surged by almost 112%. The current price of 24K gold stands at Rs 1,62,810 per 10 grams, with 22K gold priced at Rs 1,49,243 per 10 grams. Silver 999 fine is quoted at Rs 2,47,540 per kg, while 925 sterling silver stands at Rs 2,28,975 per kg.
The precious metals have experienced a strong rally in recent months, with gold gaining over 4% in the past week. Silver has also shown significant growth, increasing by 3.53% in the same period. The city-wise price table shows that Chennai recorded the highest prices for both gold and silver, while Delhi reported the lowest rates.
The strong momentum in the white metal market is highlighted by silver's nearly 112% year-on-year rise. With both precious metals trading at elevated levels, investors and jewellery buyers will continue to track domestic prices as well as international market movements for further direction.
