India's gold market has seen stable prices for 24-karat and 22-karat gold, according to latest rates on September 10. The retail market primarily deals with these two purities, with 24-karat considered the purest form but less durable than 22-karat gold due to its higher alloy content.

The international gold price, US dollar exchange rate, and domestic jewelry demand influence India's gold prices. Ahead of the festive season, demand is expected to surge, potentially impacting prices.

Top jewellers Joyalukkas and Malabar Gold & Diamonds quoted 22-karat gold at ₹14,255 per gram across major Indian states on September 10. Tanishq's 22K gold rate stood at ₹14,300 per gram, while its 24-carat gold rate was estimated to be around ₹15,600 per gram.
