India's Gold Prices Remain Stable Amid Global Economic Uncertainty
The price of gold in India has remained relatively stable over the past few days. According to recent data, 24-karat gold is priced at ₹1,54,230 per 10 grams in Delhi, while 22-karat gold is priced at ₹1,41,390 per 10 grams. In Mumbai and other major cities, the prices of both types of gold are slightly lower, ranging from ₹1,54,080 to ₹1,41,240 per 10 grams.
The Indian government has a significant stockpile of gold worth ₹33 lakh crore, which could potentially boost consumption in the country. However, market participants will continue to track global economic data and US interest rate expectations for further direction in precious metal prices.
Leading jewellers such as Joyalukkas and Malabar Gold & Diamonds have maintained their prices at around ₹14,385 per gram and ₹14,370 per gram respectively. Tanishq's 22K gold rate stood at ₹14,295 per gram, while its 24-carat gold rate was estimated to be ₹15,595 per gram.
