India's Gold Prices Stage Sharp Recovery Amid Global Bullion Price Strength
Gold prices in India staged a sharp recovery on September 3 after three consecutive sessions of decline. The rebound was driven by global bullion prices, which strengthened as spot gold moved above $4,400 per ounce.
The benchmark 24K gold rate jumped from ₹15,202 per gram to ₹15,535 per gram, a gain of ₹333 per gram. Similarly, 22K gold rose from ₹13,935 to ₹14,240 per gram.
MCX gold prices also rebounded sharply, moving towards the ₹1.54 lakh per 10-gram level after jumping around ₹1,500. Spot gold and spot silver both gained around 1% in early trade.
