Indonesia's Gold Market Sees Divergent Price Movements on August 14
Gold prices in Indonesia's domestic market fluctuated on August 14, 2026. Antam gold, a benchmark for Indonesian gold prices, dropped by Rp36,000 to Rp2,664,000 per gram from its previous price of Rp2,700,000.
Galeri 24 gold and UBS gold, however, showed opposite trends. Galeri 24 gold rose by Rp12,000 to Rp2,687,000 per gram, while UBS gold surged by Rp17,000 to Rp2,747,000 per gram.
The divergent price movements among the three products reflect the dynamics of Indonesia's domestic retail gold market, which does not always move uniformly. Antam gold is produced directly by PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, while Galeri 24 and UBS are products issued by PT Pegadaian and PT Untung Bersama Sejahtera, respectively.
The correction in Antam gold prices could serve as an entry point for investors who have been waiting for lower prices. However, investors should note that Antam gold prices published by logammulia.com are base prices that do not yet include taxes and administrative fees.
