Intel Earnings Lift Hopes for Wall Street Rebound Amid Lower Oil Prices
U.S. stock futures pointed to a firmer open on Friday as investors sought to recover from Thursday's broad sell-off, bolstered by Intel's stronger-than-expected earnings and lower oil prices.
The semiconductor giant's results included its strongest revenue growth in 15 years, with shares rising around 3% in premarket trading.
Falling oil prices also supported risk appetite, as U.S. crude oil futures declined by more than 3%, reversing part of Thursday's surge.
