Iowa Corn 350 Model Backs Kyle Larson for Top Finish
NASCAR's Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol is set to take place at Iowa Speedway on August 8, 2026. The event marks one of just four races remaining in the regular season before 'The Chase' begins on September 6.
According to Mike McClure's computer model, which has accurately predicted 30 winners since 2021, including Denny Hamlin's back-to-back wins at Michigan and Pocono in June, several drivers are worth considering for this event.
The model is high on Kyle Larson (+900), calling him a top-2 contender. Larson has historically performed well on short tracks and led 80 laps at the Iowa Corn 350 in 2024 before an accident.
