Iowa Gas Prices Plummet as Crude Oil Falls
The price of regular unleaded gasoline in Iowa has fallen by 5 cents compared to last week's prices, averaging $3.75 across the state according to AAA.
This decline marks a significant drop from a year ago when prices averaged $83 cents higher at $4.58.
Meanwhile, crude oil prices have also taken a hit, with West Texas Intermediate (WTI) falling by $1.78 per barrel to $84.98 and Brent crude dropping by $3.34 to $90.53.
