Iowa Gas Prices Rise to $4.06 Amid Global Crude Oil Surge
The price of regular unleaded gasoline has risen to $4.06 in Iowa, up 17 cents from last week's price and a total increase of $1.22 compared to this time last year, according to AAA.
The global crude oil market saw significant gains, with West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rising by $6.24 per barrel to $95.82 and Brent crude increasing by $6.55 to reach $100.79.
In Iowa, diesel prices have also increased, jumping 27 cents in the past week to an average of $5.71 statewide.
