Iowa Speedway Secures 2027 NASCAR Weekend with New Track Surface
NASCAR has locked in Iowa Speedway for its Independence Day weekend event in 2027. The racing schedule is set for July 2-4, following a third consecutive NASCAR Cup Series sellout in 2026.
The facility will debut a brand-new racing surface after a full repave that begins immediately following the conclusion of the 2026 Iowa Corn 350 Powered by Ethanol. This marks the beginning of a new era for Iowa Speedway.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds stated that hosting one of NASCAR's marquee weekends on Independence Day, combined with a brand-new racing surface, reinforces Iowa's place on the national stage.
