Iran Accuses Israel of Plotting False-Flag Operation in Egypt

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has suggested that Israel might be behind a recent drone attack on an Egyptian port. The explosion at the liquefied natural gas (LNG) transhipment terminal in Damietta was reportedly caused by a drone launched from Iran, according to The New York Times. Iranian sources warned of severe disruptions to global energy supplies if the conflict escalates further.

Araghchi took to Twitter to express his concerns about potential Israeli plots and false-flag operations. He emphasized that regional peace is at risk due to the threat, which he described as 'clear, mutual, and fearful of Muslim solidarity.'
