The Iranian Ambassador to Bangladesh, Jalil Rahimi Jahanabadi, has assured that liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessels carrying supplies to Bangladesh will face no obstacles while navigating the Strait of Hormuz.

This assurance comes amidst recent security concerns surrounding the strategic waterway. The Strait of Hormuz is a critical route for transporting LNG from the Middle East to various Asian nations, including Bangladesh.

The Iranian ambassador made his remarks after meeting with State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday (September 2).
