Iran-Attacked Saudi Tanker Suffers Heavy Losses in Strait of Hormuz
Oman's Maritime Security Centre has successfully evacuated 16 crew members from the Saudi-owned tanker Sidr, which was attacked in the Strait of Hormuz.
The attack occurred last Monday and also targeted another supertanker carrying Saudi oil. The Sidr is owned by Bahri, Saudi Arabia's national shipping company.
The incident has left seven crew members unaccounted for, with their whereabouts and status remaining uncertain.
Saudi authorities confirmed on Wednesday that two Filipino seafarers were killed in the assault.
