Iran Conflict Sends US Gas Prices Soaring Again
Crude oil prices have surged again after several weeks of decline, fueled by the renewed bombing of Iran. According to AAA, West Texas crude is now trading over $80 per barrel.
This price spike comes as a blow to family budgets across the nation, which were already feeling the pinch from rising fuel costs.
The current prices for regular mid-grade, premium, and diesel fuels are $5.59, $5.80, and $6.94 per gallon, respectively.
These figures represent a jump from last week's averages of $5.42, $5.65, and $6.74 per gallon, respectively.
