Iran Defies Blockade, Continues Crude Oil Exports Uninterrupted

Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad acknowledged that his country is facing a difficult situation due to the US blockade on its ports and ships. However, he claimed that Iran has found ways to continue exporting crude oil without interruption.

Paknejad stated that despite the blockade, operations at Kharg Island, one of Iran's main oil export points, continued even during the bombings by US forces. The island was hit more than 550 times in the first 40 days of the conflict.

Before the war began, around 90% of Iran's crude oil exports passed through Kharg Island, making it a strategic infrastructure for the Iranian economy.
