Iran Denies Halt to Oil Operations at Key Export Hub
The National Iranian Oil Company has denied claims that operations at Kharg Island have been halted. According to Hamid Bovard, CEO of the company, conditions on the island are calm and there is no disruption in oil exports.
Kharg Island is a key hub for Iranian oil production, accounting for 90% of the country's oil exports. The island has previously been targeted by US and Israeli forces, but operations have continued uninterrupted.
Bovard stated that contractors are currently rebuilding and modernizing storage tanks and jetties on the island.
