Iran Earns $18 Billion from Oil Sales Amid US-Israel Conflict
The Iranian Oil Minister, Mohsen Paknejad, recently announced that Iran generated $18 billion in revenue from oil sales during its conflict and subsequent ceasefire with the US and Israel.
This figure represents over 60% of the oil revenue projected in Iran's annual national budget. The revenue breakdown shows that $11.5 billion was earned during active hostilities, while $6.5 billion was earned during the ceasefire phase.
The successful export of Iranian oil can be attributed to several factors, including reduced maritime risk, stockpile liquidation, and a shadow fleet importing energy from China.
