The Iranian Oil Ministry has reported generating $18 billion from oil sales during its conflict with the US and subsequent ceasefire. The revenue was earned despite ongoing hostilities and sanctions. According to the ministry, $11.5 billion was generated from oil exports during the war period, while an additional $6.5 billion was realized during the ceasefire.

The ministry stated that the revenue accounted for more than 60% of the oil income projected in Iran's annual budget despite the ongoing crisis. This contradicts earlier remarks made by Iran's Parliament Speaker and chief negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who said the country was unable to export oil during a US blockade of its ports.
