Iran Finds Secret Oil Export Route Amid CENTCOM Blockade
Iran has found a new route to export its oil despite claims by the US Central Command (CENTCOM) that no Iranian oil has breached their blockade. CENTCOM reported escorting 750 million barrels of oil through the Strait of Hormuz, claiming Iran had failed to ship a single barrel past the blockade zone.
However, satellite tracking reveals an active pathway facilitating Iran's crude exports. Oil and gas analytical research firm HFR noted that 'Shhh, CENTCOM doesn't realize that the oil figures they are quoting includes Iran.'
Martime intelligence firm TankerTrackers calculated that CENTCOM's claimed volume equates to roughly 6.5 million barrels per day. Meanwhile, maritime tracking outlet MenchOSINT reported satellite surveillance capturing an Iran-linked tanker departing a ship-to-ship (STS) transfer zone.
