Iran Lists Gulf Targets as Tehran Threatens Retaliation Against US Military Aggression
A stark warning from Tehran has left regional countries on high alert as Iran threatens to target their critical energy infrastructure if Washington's military aggression continues.
The threat, conveyed through high-level diplomatic contacts, includes potential attacks on 'energy facilities, refineries, electricity grids, water infrastructure, transport networks, and oil fields' belonging to the United States' closest Arab allies in the region.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has been meeting with his counterparts in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Qatar, as well as Pakistan's army chief, urging them to use their influence with President Trump to dissuade him from launching renewed strikes.
Araqchi delivered a consistent message across all conversations: 'We're ready to retaliate, but finding a diplomatic solution is the best way to avoid wider escalation and destruction across the region.'
