Iran's oil sales have not come to a complete halt despite a decline in output. According to Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad, deliveries to customers in distant waters are still ongoing.

Paknejad made this statement on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

'Oil sales have not stopped and, despite the decline, the process of delivering oil to customers in distant waters continues,' he said.

When questioned about providing more information, Paknejad was evasive, stating that revealing details could be used against Iran by its adversaries.
