Iran, Pakistan Strengthen Energy Ties Amid Growing Economic Cooperation
The Iranian Oil Minister, Paknejad, met with Pakistan's Interior Minister to discuss strengthening their countries' energy ties. The meeting took place at Iran's Ministry of Petroleum headquarters.
Paknejad emphasized that the long-standing economic, commercial, and cultural relations between Tehran and Islamabad have created a favorable foundation for broadening interactions across various fields, particularly in energy.
The Iranian oil minister highlighted the existing potential for cooperation in crude oil and petroleum products trade. He also pointed to opportunities for Iran to export technical and engineering services to Pakistan, specifically in the refinery sector.
