A proposal has been made by Iran to increase gas exports to Armenia through a new commercial model. Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad discussed this plan during a meeting with Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan.

Paknejad stated that implementing the proposal would require a thorough assessment of existing infrastructure and the feasibility of expanding gas trade beyond Armenia's market, using the country as a regional transit corridor. The assessment would involve evaluating the current setup to ensure it can accommodate increased exports.
