Iran Ramps Up Oil Exports After Conflict
Iran's oil facilities have been rapidly rebuilt after attacks in February, according to Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad. He stated that despite repeated strikes on key infrastructure, the country managed to maintain oil export operations and even continued loading tankers at its main oil export terminal, Khark Island.
The island, which covers around 23 to 24 square kilometers, was targeted over 550 times during the conflict. Paknejad said that reconstruction work began just days after the attacks, starting with debris removal and safety operations.
Iran has reported significant progress in restoring damaged gas production capacity, particularly at the South Pars Phase 14 refinery. Officials said around 70 percent of production capacity had been restored after damage caused by an attack, with remaining repairs expected to continue as part of a wider recovery plan.
