Iran Rebuilds Oil Refining Capacity After US-Israeli Attacks

Iran's oil and gas refining capacity has been severely damaged in US-Israeli attacks since February 28, but much of it has now been rebuilt. According to Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad, the country's crude oil exports continued uninterrupted throughout the conflict.

The Kharg Island, home to Iran's main oil export terminal, was hit over 550 times during the attacks. Despite this, oil loading operations continued even under bombardment, with Paknejad stating that 'our colleagues continued loading oil onto tankers even under bombardment.'

Paknejad also provided an update on the reconstruction of refineries in southern Iran. He said that the process began within two to three days after each attack and a large portion of the work has been completed.
