Iran Rejects Trump's Claim of Kharg Island Destruction Amid Escalating Tensions

Iran's General Staff of Armed Forces issued a statement on Monday vowing to reject any acts of aggression and defend its sovereignty. They stressed that despite warnings from Tehran, US forces have continued to launch attacks against Iranian military sites from their soil.

The statement emphasized that the US troops have no choice but to withdraw from the region, as all branches of Iran's armed forces will stand united to confront and eliminate any source of aggression.

An official with the National Iranian Oil Company called US President Donald Trump's claim about Kharg Island being destroyed 'ridiculous', stating that oil-related operations on the island have never paused.
