Iran Restores 40% of Damaged South Pars Gas Field Capacity
The South Pars gas field in Iran has seen significant progress in its reconstruction efforts after repeated US-Israeli attacks damaged its production capacity. According to Deputy Oil Minister for Planning Ahmad Zeraatkar, about 40% of the damaged capacity has now been restored and is back online.
Iranian energy workers have been working rapidly to bring several damaged units back online ahead of schedule, demonstrating their speed and efficiency in restoring the affected facilities.
The complete reconstruction of the damaged sites will take at least two years, but Zeraatkar emphasized that the work is advancing steadily by relying on Iran's domestic capabilities. Debris removal has been completed, and reconstruction is now proceeding in an organized and planned manner.
