Iran Restores 40% of South Pars Gas Capacity after US-Israeli Attacks
Iran has made significant progress in restoring its damaged South Pars gas field following US-Israeli attacks. Deputy Oil Minister for Planning Ahmad Zeraatkar announced that about 40% of the damaged capacity has returned to service, with production resuming in affected areas.
Zeraatkar said Iranian energy workers have rapidly brought several damaged units back online ahead of schedule, demonstrating the country's ability to restore its energy infrastructure under sustained military pressure. The reconstruction process is expected to take at least two years due to the scale of the damage, but Zeraatkar stressed that it is advancing steadily relying on domestic capabilities.
Iranian financial institutions have also joined the reconstruction effort, with four domestic financing projects established as part of a large financing package. Debris removal has been completed and reconstruction is proceeding in an organized manner.
