Iran's oil ministry announced that it sold $18 billion worth of oil during the recent war and subsequent ceasefire with the United States. This figure includes $11.5 billion in oil sales during the conflict itself and $6.5 billion during the ceasefire, which collapsed earlier this month.

The ministry stated that these oil revenues cover more than 60 percent of the forecasted oil income for the year's budget, despite the crisis caused by the US blockade on Iran's ports.

Iran had previously been unable to export any oil due to the US sanctions, according to Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf in late June.
