Iran Targets Global Energy Facilities: Ghawar Oil Field and More in Crosshairs
The world's most critical energy facilities are in the crosshairs of Iranian missiles. This warning comes as Iran threatens to disrupt global energy supplies, sparking concerns among international experts and governments.
In a previous conflict, during the 40-day war, Iran targeted the South Pars facilities in Qatar and bombarded the world's largest gas refinery. The US, led by then-President Trump, apologized to Iran via tweet, stating that 'it will not happen again.'
The current threat aims at major energy facilities in Arab countries and Israel, including Ghawar Oil Field in Saudi Arabia, which is the backbone of Saudi production, accounting for more than 5% of the world's total oil supply.
