Iran Threatens 'Faster, Heavier and More Painful Response' to US Attacks
Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf issued a stern warning to the United States, stating that any further attacks against Iranian interests and security would receive a 'faster, heavier and more painful response.'
The warning came after US military strikes on three Iranian oil tankers in the Gulf, which Washington claimed was in response to ballistic missile attacks by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) against two US Navy vessels.
Ghalibaf emphasized that 'the rules of the game' have changed and urged Washington to understand this before it's too late. He noted that Iran has demonstrated its ability to threaten US interests across the region while maintaining pressure on the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.
