Iran Threatens Regional Countries Over Support for US Sanctions
Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei warned neighboring countries that if they join US sanctions against Iran, Tehran will consider them enemies and target their interests. He said that not a single drop of oil would be shipped from the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz if regional countries support the US economic war on Iran.
Rezaei emphasized that Iran does not want to spread the conflict but is prepared to defend its interests. If neighboring states join the US sanctions, Tehran will view other routes of oil export from the region as targets.
