The conflict between Iran and the US has escalated as Iran's main military command warned of a regional oil blockade if the US attacks Iranian infrastructure.

The Strait of Hormuz has seen significant commercial shipping decline due to Iranian forces tightening their grip on the waterway, with just nine vessels crossing on Tuesday, a 31% drop from the previous day.
