Iran Threatens Retaliation Against US Bases Over Tanker Attacks

The Iranian Navy has issued a warning that any attack on its oil tankers or commercial vessels will trigger strong retaliatory strikes against US military bases and ships in the region.

This warning comes after recent clashes between Iranian and US forces in and around the Strait of Hormuz. The Strait is a strategic waterway through which much of the world's oil passes, and Iran has tightened its control over it since February 28 by barring vessels linked to Israel or the United States from passing through.

The US has imposed a naval blockade in the area, restricting ships traveling to and from Iranian ports. In recent days, US forces have reportedly attacked several Iranian ships and oil tankers.
