Iran to Pour $275 Billion into Oil, Gas Development by 2041
A high-ranking official at Iran's National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) has announced plans to invest $275 billion in oil and gas field development by 2041.
NIOC manager Ahmad Rajabi stated that strategic plans have been defined to increase crude oil production, aiming for a total of 5.5 million barrels per day (bpd) by 2031 with an investment of about $150 billion.
The plan also includes increasing raw natural gas production to 1.5 billion cubic meters in 2031, requiring a total investment of around $125 billion.
