Iran Vows Military Response if US Intensifies Blockade

Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has warned that the US is escalating its 'hybrid war' against the country, which includes economic and cognitive warfare. The enemy, as Qalibaf referred to it, aims to incite domestic unrest and chaos in Iran.

Qalibaf stated that the US's goal is to weaken Iran's resolve or force it to capitulate at the negotiating table through targeted assassinations and limited military strikes. He emphasized that if Washington intensifies its blockade of Iranian ports, Tehran will respond militarily.

The Parliament speaker highlighted the enemy's broader objectives behind this strategy, stating that they may even attempt to prevent Iran from exporting oil from the Persian Gulf. If that happens, no country will be able to export oil, Qalibaf asserted.
