The Iran war has entered its fourth week, with Tehran rejecting a 15-point US proposal to end the conflict. Despite this, Iran has largely avoided targeting Persian Gulf oil and gas infrastructure since President Donald Trump postponed strikes on energy sites in the country.

Dozens of refineries, oil fields, gas plants, ports, and other energy infrastructure have been damaged by missile and drone strikes. Some facilities have restarted after being temporarily shut down, but the operational status of others remains unclear.

The following are some of the Middle East's most important energy facilities that have been hit or disrupted during the conflict:

Oil Refineries: Ruwais in the UAE was shut as a precautionary measure after a drone strike caused a fire in the industrial area where it's located. Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia's largest crude processing plant with 550,000 barrels a day of capacity, temporarily halted operations due to a drone attack, but has since been restarted.

Gas Facilities: QatarEnergy reported that LNG facilities were hit by Iranian missiles at Ras Laffan, triggering fires that caused extensive damage. Habshan in the UAE has resumed gas facility operations after being shut down due to falling debris from an intercepted strike.

Nuclear Plants: There was another strike near the operating power unit of the Iranian nuclear plant Bushehr on Tuesday evening.
