The Iran war has spread to new regions over the weekend, despite a pause in US strikes. The conflict broadened as Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis attacked Saudi oil installations along the Red Sea coast on Saturday.

The Houthi military spokesperson confirmed that the group struck sites belonging to Saudi state oil company Aramco in Jizan and Yanbu, which are key routes for Saudi oil exports. Two Asia-based trading sources reported potential damage to fuel and oil storage sites at Jizan.

Meanwhile, Iran accused Ukraine of targeting one of its vessels in the Caspian Sea, claiming that a sailor was killed and another injured. The Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned Ukraine's chargé d'affaires in Tehran to protest what it called a 'hostile and criminal' attack.
