The Iran war has spread to new regions as fighting intensifies in Yemen and the Caspian Sea, despite a reported pause in US strikes. On Saturday, the Iran-aligned Houthis attacked Saudi oil installations along the Red Sea coast, with reports of damage to fuel and oil storage sites at Jizan. The Houthi military spokesperson claimed the group struck sites belonging to Saudi state oil company Aramco in Jizan and Yanbu.

A US-made Patriot battery operated by the Greek military intercepted two ballistic missiles aimed at oil installations in Yanbu, where up to 400,000 barrels can be processed daily. The attack comes as Yemen's civil war reignites, with both sides mobilizing forces along the front. Saudi Arabia has led an Arab coalition battling the Houthis for over a decade.

Separately, Iran accused Ukraine of attacking an Iranian commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea, resulting in an explosion that killed one sailor and injured another. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had earlier praised the results of 'long-range strikes' in the Caspian Sea without specifying targets.
