Iran Warns Neighbors Against Joining US Economic War
Iran has warned neighboring countries against joining the US's 'economic war' against it, threatening to target their interests and disrupt oil exports from the Gulf.
Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaee made the comments on Saturday, stating that Iran would consider any country cooperating with Washington an enemy.
'We tell all neighboring countries not to participate in the economic war with the US; otherwise, we will consider them an enemy,' Rezaee said.
The warning comes as tensions between Iran and the US remain high. The Strait of Hormuz remains closed despite US claims to the contrary, according to Rezaee, who stated that it would not reopen until Washington 'corrects its behavior.'
