Iranian Oil Sales Soar Amid Conflict with US and Israel
The Iranian Minister of Oil reported that during the recent conflict with the US and Israel, Iran managed to sell oil worth $18 billion. This revenue was a significant portion of the country's annual oil revenues planned in the state budget.
According to the minister, even before the conflict began, Iran had accumulated approximately 100 million barrels of crude oil and gas condensate. This allowed the country to utilize its reserves for export when the opportunity arose.
The head of Iran's oil agency noted that 'The temporary reduction of risks for the movement of oil tankers, despite sanctions, has significantly increased the export of Iranian oil and brought a substantial portion of accumulated reserves to global markets.'
